Growing Health Through Knowledge, Compassion, and Connection
At Health Gardeners, we believe that good health doesn’t just happen—it’s cultivated.
Just like a garden, your well-being flourishes when it’s nurtured with care, consistency, and the right information.
Founded by Dr. Meghan Killilea Galli, APRN, FNP-BC, a Connecticut-based Family Nurse Practitioner, Health Gardeners is a trusted online resource dedicated to helping individuals and families make informed, confident decisions about their health.
Our mission is simple:
To grow healthier communities by sharing evidence-based, compassionate, and practical health information you can trust.
🌿 Our Story
Health Gardeners was born from a simple but powerful idea—that knowledge empowers healing.
After years of caring for patients in Hartford and New Haven, I saw the same pattern repeat: people arriving at appointments overwhelmed by misinformation, online myths, or confusing medical jargon.
They didn’t need another list of symptoms—they needed clarity, reassurance, and direction.
So, I created Health Gardeners—a space where credible health information meets compassion.
Here, you’ll find articles written and reviewed by healthcare professionals, designed to explain medical topics in plain language, grounded in real clinical experience and scientific research.

That local insight shapes our approach and ensures our advice reflects the realities of our community.
